Client Review
‘After many years of misdiagnosis, my adult children and myself went to Bright Star for assessments. Terri and Haydn were really patient and thorough.
There was no rushing us and we discussed every difficulty and past events individually. Our diagnoses have improved our lives.
Many thanks, Steph.’

What do we know
about ADHD?
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
is a common disorder that affects
individuals throughout life.
It is a condition that includes symptoms
such as daydreaming, fidgiting, emotional
dysregulation and acting without thinking,
or being impulsive.
Common symptoms also include a
tendancy to be un-organised, overactive,
restless and be prone to mood instability.
Other symptoms include a lack of focus
and concentration and being easily
distracted.
Being un-organised is common, as well as
the ability to constantly loose things.
In Britain, ADHD appears in around 3%
of adults. Symptoms can often be
recognised at an early age. However,
this does not always happen. ADHD can
remain present and often undetected
until adulthood.
An ADHD assessment
with Bright Star
can answer questions and
provide treatment, support
and advice for the ADHD
adult to live a full and
enriched life.
Advantages
of treatment
In terms of treatment of ADHD,
there is no cure, but there are ways
to live with it and to thrive as an adult
living with the disorder.
ADHD can be
medicated with
prescription drugs
However, we at Bright Star
believe alternative therapies
should be considered before
deciding to take any medicine.
Research has shown that prolonged use of ADHD prescription medicine can lead to serious physical and mental health issues in adults.
We believe that an holistic
approach to living with ADHD
is the most positive and
beneficial path.
Research has been carried out on
the benefits of using hypnotherapy
and Crystal sound healing with ADHD.
It has been found to significantly help
with focus, concentration and stress.
